Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra – Transfer to Phuentsholing
Your journey begins with arrival at Bagdogra Airport, where our representative warmly welcomes you. Enjoy a scenic 4–5 hour drive to Phuentsholing, the gateway town to Bhutan, located along the Indo-Bhutan border.
Upon arrival, at Jaigaon on the Indian Side of the border our guide shall take you to the Bhutan Immigration Office to complete entry formalities. After permit processing, proceed to Phuentsholing in Bhutan and check-in to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu (165 km / Approx. 5 hrs)
After breakfast, begin your drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital city. Before departure.
En route, visit:
Sangay Migyur Ling Lhakhang – Dedicated to the revered Tibetan yogi Milarepa
Scenic mountain viewpoints including Gedu region and waterfalls
National Memorial Chorten – Built in memory of Bhutan’s Third King
Arrive in Thimphu, check into your hotel, and unwind for the evening.

Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing (Choose Your Experience)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
Start your tour with a visit to Simply Bhutan and get introduced to the beautiful kingdom of Bhutan
Drive up to Buddha Dordenma Statue at Kuensel Phodrang – an iconic 51.5-meter bronze statue overlooking the Thimphu Valley.
Visit the Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan’s national animal – the Takin.
Visit the School of Arts and Crafts, where students learn traditional Bhutanese art forms.
Tour the majestic Tashichho Dzong, a fortress that houses the throne room and offices of the King.
Lunch at a traditional Bhutanese restaurant.
In the afternoon, browse through the Centenary Farmers Market and shop at the local Craft Bazaar.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4: Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass
After breakfast, drive to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan.

Continue to Punakha Valley and enjoy:
A walk through paddy fields to Chimi Lhakhang – The Fertility Temple of Lama Drukpa Kunley
Visit to the majestic Punakha Dzong – One of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses
Suspension Bridge crossing
Optional river rafting on the Mo Chhu River
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Punakha to Paro (Approx. 125 km / 3.5 hrs)
Start your day with a scenic hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, offering panoramic views of the valley.
After a relaxing riverside lunch, drive to Paro through picturesque mountain roads. Upon arrival:

Day 6: Tiger’s Nest Hike and Cultural Experiences
Today marks the highlight of your Bhutan journey — the hike to the legendary Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery).
Perched dramatically on a cliffside, this sacred site requires a 5–6 hour round-trip trek. Stop at the halfway café viewpoint for refreshments and stunning views.
Later, enjoy optional cultural experiences:
Traditional hot stone bath at a local farmhouse

Return to your hotel for dinner and well-deserved rest.

Day 7: Paro – Phuentsholing – Siliguri
After breakfast, begin your return journey.
En route, visit:
Tamchog Lhakhang – Associated with the legendary iron bridge builder Thangtong Gyalpo
Proceed to Phuentsholing for exit formalities before transferring to your Indian vehicle for onward drive to Siliguri.
